Private Lessons
For your convenience, I offer in-home lessons. If you prefer to meet outside of your home, that can be arranged. Lessons are 30 minutes once weekly for $40 for any of the following instruments: violin, viola, cello, guitar, ukulele, mountain dulcimer, voice, and piano.
Whether you have big goals to write your own songs and play multiple instruments or if you just want to learn the basics and try something new, private instruction can help you take those steps to get there!

Beach Wedding/Event
Prelude, processional, ceremony, postlude, cocktail hour, or any other wedding or private event needs. As a soloist on the beach, I utilize a Bluetooth speaker to play along with a backing track, to add more depth. Solo musician pricing starts at $400 for the event.
Duo, trio, and string quartet are available upon request. Price range changes based on specific song requests as well as any other special needs.

Solo Musician
*Must have access to electricity*

Using a loop pedal, I can sound like several instruments at once creating my own one-woman-band! I am a singer-songwriter as well as an expert at figuring out songs upon request.
If you'd like background music at an event, I am able to fade down the volume as needed and can offer a microphone for any speakers who would like to make announcements. Price range varies based on location, duration, and any other special requests.

Guest Artist
I've played with a variety of bands throughout the mid-west and NW Florida areas. Some of my experiences range from playing fiddle and singing backup vocals in a country band on the main stage at Gulf Coast Jam to a crowd of 10,000+ ... to playing cello with a bluegrass band on a pallet stage in the muddy trenches of Walnut Valley surrounded by a couple dozen close friends.
Then there's everywhere in between...

I've played in symphony orchestras, jazz ensembles, avant-garde groups, a Nirvana and Radiohead tribute string quartet, hip hop and R&B groups, and more. Just about any genre or pairing of instruments you could think of, I've been there with either an instrument.

Assisted Living Facilities
Music therapy provides many benefits that can directly impact the overall health of the listener.
Listening to and singing along with well-known songs from the past can not only evoke positive emotions but can also improve memory functions in the elderly. This has been put to the test in assisted living homes, and I have witnessed it firsthand.
An assisted facility employee once let me know that a resident who was no longer able to speak recognized several songs and would sing along. If this phenomenon is able to produce that kind of effect on someone, the person usually experiences anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes of improved cognitive functions allowing them to now carry on conversations with others.
